A New Zealand First (as far as I know)

As has been noted previously in this forum I am involved with running sessions for the Kiwi Educators Group within Second Life. Generally held on Sundays these cover basic SL skills, specific sim visits and general discussions, usually (but not always) with an educational bent.

The latest session, on terraforming within SL, was the first educational session to be held on the new, New Zealand education focused, Koru (island) and as far as I know, the first New Zealand "class" held on a completely New Zealand owned SL sim (specifically NMIT's). I know there may be others out there, Victoria University for one has SL involvement, but apart from the Pacific Students of Architecture Congress Competition, they aren't being very public about what they are doing so I'm definitely going to chalk this one up *smiles*.

btw... for those that may want them notes for the session can be found on my SL project site under Files.

Cheers
