Pleasure, Play, Participation and Promise - a truely excellent presentation from Angela A Thomas on June 7th at the 2007 NMC Summer Conference. Absolutely lots to think about here, not only in the paradigm of MUVEs but social play/interest based networks in general. So much of what Angela talks about mirrors my own experience in the social networks I have lived in and those that I observe my children in. Well worth the listen (do sync the slides to the audio - its worth the effort - and play the 2 videos at the appropriate time)
And isnt this just special - being able to hear such an address from a conference I know I could never afford to go to, with full slide show and video.
