Finding a library book

Oh no! The big history test is on tomorrow and you haven't done any study! You need to get a grip on yourself and figure out what to do! You suddenly have the greatest idea ever! You need to: A. Go to the [[movies]] to watch Spiderman B. Go to the [[library]] C. Go to the [[swimming pool]]

You get your tickets and popcorn. The movie is awesome and you leave the cinema feeling really pumped. You look at the sky and it's dark!! OH NO, THE HISTORY TEST!!!!! It's too late. You fail the test miserably. Better luck next time: go back to the [[Start]]

Excellent choice! After all the library is by far the most sensible choice - it's full of history books! One problem, though... How do we find a history book? You know that the test is going to be on New Zealand history so you probably need a book on that. What should you do? A. Wander up and down the [[aisle]] looking for the right book? B. Ask the [[librarian]] C. Look up the book using the [[catalogue]]

You wander up the first aisle. It's really long and you only see books about fairies and ponies. The second aisle is just as long and you only see books about airplanes and motorbikes. The third aisle only has books about guitars and yodelling. After a while a bell chimes and you hear "The library is now closed - please leave." OH NO!!! I've wasted too much time looking!! You approach the desk. The librarian is a really mean looking old lady. You ask her, "Do you have any books about New Zealand history?" "Books about two zebras hamstery?!" she yells back. Oh no! She's hard of hearing! This is impossible! Maybe you should try something else: A. Wander up and down the [[aisle]] looking for the right book? B. Look up the book using the [[catalogue]]

Great choice! You go to the catalogue computer and type "New Zealand history" into the search bar. The catalogue returns three results. Which book will you choose: A. [[NZ - a history of our nation]] B. [[History never repeats - Split Enz]] C. [[A history of Papua New Guinea]]

You take the book up to the counter, but then you remember you need to give the librarian something else. What do you give her? A. Your [[eft-pos card]] B. Your [[student ID card]] C. Your [[library card]]

You find this item, but it's a CD by a band called Split Enz. Hmm... that seems odd. What do you do? A. Look for the other book [[NZ - a history of our nation]] B. Look for the other book [[A history of Papua New Guinea]] C. Grab the CD anyway, it's probably an [[audio book]]

You take the book up to the counter and get it out. When you get home you realise that it's totally the wrong book! OH NO!!!! You fail the test miserably, but at least you know lots about Papua New Guinea, which is actually quite interesting!

You get your eft-pos card out and give it to the librarian. She cackles loudly and says, "I'd love to take your money, but I think you've got the wrong card!" You pretend that her joke is funny (it's not because you've heard it fifty thousand times before), but get a different card out. Which card do you give her? A. Your [[library card]] B. Your [[student ID card]]

You give the librarian your student ID card. She looks at you as if you're crazy. Maybe it's the wrong card. Which do you give her? A. Your [[eft-pos card]] B. Your [[library card]]

Yes! You give your library card to the librarian and she issues you the book. You go home and read it (well, skim read it...) and it's actually pretty interesting! You ace the test and the teacher gives you an A+! Yay!!! You did it!!!! The End

You take the CD up to the desk and get it out. Once you get home you put it in the stereo and it starts... OH NO!!! It's not an audio book it's music! It's pretty terrific music though so that makes you feel better and pretty soon you're dancing around the living room. You do fail the test miserably, though.
