NMIT provides a self-service option enabling students and staff to reset their NMIT computer account without requiring assistance from our IT ServiceDesk.
In order to use this service you must first register. We recommend you do this as soon as you have successfully logged in on a campus PC for the first time or activated your computer account online - and before you forget your password.
If you have forgotten your password, but have not registered, then you must contact the IT ServiceDesk - see details at the bottom of this page.
Distance Students
Have you activated your NMIT login account yet? New students must either login on an NMIT campus computer OR activate your NMIT login account on this Activate Your Computer Account page before you try to login to any NMIT services. If you studied with NMIT last semester or last year, you don't need to do this.
Special users
Special users are people who aren't students or staff members but have been provided login access to NMIT Online for community or project work. Special users cannot use the self-service password reset service - contact the Flexible Learning Team for assistance.
