So what do you want to achieve while you are studying this year and in the future?

Help us to understand what you want to achieve - and maybe any of those smaller (or not so small) worries you may have.

If you are a new student you need to start your Learning Plans to help us understand you and for you to understand where you are heading.

If you are a returning student, now is the time to update your Learning Plans for the new study year.

How do you find your Learning Plan?  Head to the Student Hub and look for

And to show how important we think this challenge is there are lots of points available!

15 points per person plus bonus points if everyone in your team has updated their Plans.

Additional bonus points for including links to suitable Lynda.com resources to your learning plan.

To earn the points just make sure you are enrolled in the IT Challenge Week Course page and we can do the rest!

Not sure what to write?

  • Add a Learning Profile of what you see as your Successes and Challenges
    • What have you done well or succeeded with in the past?
    • Do you have the skills needed to be successful with study (eg time management, study skills, general computer skills etc) or what is your biggest worry about your study this year?
    • How do you learn best?  Maybe you could complete the VARK Learning Styles questionnaire to find out more.
  • Add a 2018 Learning Commitment of your long term and 2018 academic goals
  • Add a Learner Reflection of what you achieved in 2017 and what impact this has on your goals - perfect for returning students

If you need help getting started with this come along during the Literacy and Numeracy Testing time slot.
