Visit Google Drive and log in with your NMIT account. If you do not have one of these, contact Senio to set one up for you.

1. Upload a pdf of your reading. You can either drag and drop straight into your Drive window or select the button.


2. Open the pdf by double-clicking the file. It should open in the pdf viewer.


3. Adding comments. 

a) Click the comment icon. In the top right of the window, you will have four icons:  We are going to be using the comment icon (which is highlighted yellow). 

b) Your cursor will change to a small + and It will ask you to at the top of your screen. Drag around the area you wish to comment on. 


b) Then in the box to the right you can write your message and click the blue comment button. 


4. Share with others. 

a) You can share the entire document with your class by clicking 'share' in the hamburger menu in the top right. 

NOTE: You will need to change the document so it is shared with anyone with the link. 

b) Change the share settings by clicking change.


c) Select the down arrow next to NMIT and select 'anyone with the link' 

d) Now your window should look like this: 

NOTE: You also need to change the people from viewers to commenters (highlighted below)


You can copy this link and share it with your class so they are able to add comments without needing a NMIT gmail account. 

Unfortunately, anyone who wants to comment needs to sign in with a Gmail account, though most students these days have an account.
