  1. Tutorial videos

I don't have time to make any videos at the moment but I found these videos to be useful:

    This is a comprehensive tutorial:

    Thanks Alan,

    these are good!
  3. Moodle Filter
I am working on getting a plugin installed which makes it easier to set up a meeting from within moodle. This could take a while though.
  4. Phone App
The Zoom phone app is really good. It might be better to use then an old webcam.  And your phone will have a better microphone. Just make sure to where your headphones. Obviously you can't use it for screensharing.

Can you have students submit files to that location like a drop box?

  8. Re: How to share FILES
Not sure, Al. But here's another way to share files, however, it only shares the file(s) with students who are currently in the meeting:

  9. Breakout Room [Youtube - 3 mins]

This is an awesome feature and so simple to use! I seriously encourage you to check it out, it's only 3 minutes long smile

Really good way to deal with large classes.

Doug how is the latency? Could a few students jam together? I'm assuming not.  But you could have two working together - with one being master track and the other the player who would have microphone off.

Haven't tested it in class yet, so not sure about *audio latency* issues. Will try to test during the next week. Useful for offering peer feedback (in pairs?), or small group discussion, etc. You can also create a TIME LIMIT for Breakout Rooms, allow students to RETURN to the MAIN ROOM, as well as let them know using a countdown timer exactly when they need to return to the main room! Very cool wink
  12. Class attendance
If you check the meeting report you can get a list of class attendees and the times they join and leave.

Neat. Are the students logging in with their nmit email address? If they aren't this method of enrollment checking might be a bit iffy. But would be fine in this current scenario (I believe).

I can see in some meetings some students have nicknames and don't have their cameras on, so the report only shows their nicknames.

Taking the roll could be a difficult task when you have 30+ students with cameras off without their names.

If you are meeting through Teams you have the attendees names.
