Hi Everybody,
My name is Hilary Drake, and I teach a variety of science courses at NMIT: Ecology for the DoC Trainee Rangers, Nursing Science for the Bachelor of Nursing and Foundation Nursing, Aquatic Ecology and Introductory Science for Aquaculture, and Plant Science for the Bachelor of Viticulture and Winemaking (in Blenheim).
My Office is in H135 on the Nelson campus, my phone number and extension is 035469175/896 and my email address is hilary.drake@nmit.ac.nz . (Please note that there is only one "l" in Hilary.)
In this course we sill study:
- Organisms and their classification
- Ecology - the study of organisms and the environments they live in
- Biodiversity - evolution and the origins of New zealand's unique flora and fauna
